Nhyiraba Fausty legally recognized by the name Osman Fatimatu was born on September 9th, 1999 into a muslim family. Fausty was born and raised in the Pusiga in the Upper East Northern Region of Ghana by her dad Osman Hamidu (Biological Father) and Mary Tawia Osman (Biological Mother). Together, her parents gave birth to six children of which Fausty is the second born. Academically, Faustina completed her JHS education at Bayerebon No.3 D/A and her SHS education at Novrongo Senior High School.
Why the name Faustina or Fausty?
Fati was named after a woman called Fausty who did a good deed for her father. In return of the good act and kindness of the woman, her dad Osman decided to honor the woman by naming his daughter Fati after her.
Over the course of years, Faustina discovered her passion for the things of God and love for music after participating in several christian-oriented activities and gatherings. She felt a strong calling into the christian faith and decided to dedicate her life to Christ. Her decision presented her with some tough challenges but she fought through it and now follows the Christian faith. Fausty now resides in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. In Kumasi, Fausty fellowships with Blessing Evangelical Ministry. In addition, Fausty’s vision in life is take her music ministry to a high level across the globe. The young star went on to say, she would love to further her education someday in Media School to become a Journalist but presently, her passion for music is greater than anything else she has in mind.
On the music journey, Fausty is well-known and celebrated across the world for her outstanding and trilling “Yaa Boatemaa” performance during StarSpot Season 1. Her performance reached over 200,000 viewers across facebook and youtube. Faustina has a strong presence and great confidence which helped her to be crowned as the winner of StarSpot Season 1 at the Grand Finale. After winning the competition, Nhyiraba Fausty received a 20,000ghs record label contract deal with L4C Multimedia and 2,000ghs cash bonus. The young artist is currently a signed product of L4C Multimedia under a three (3) year contract. Her management have promised her fans to be on the lookout for many projects and releases during her contract period. The young star’s future is bright if she will receive more support and development.
Fausty’s role model is Mama Esther. She says she loves her because she is very modest, presents herself well, carries herself well, dresses very well, has a nice style of singing, choose effect words for her music likes directly out of the bible, and wins many souls through her music.
Nhyiraba Fausty has some interesting fun facts about herself. Her favorite hobby is listening to music. She says whenever she is laying there and not doing anything, she listens to music to the extend that often times he cries and read her Bible. Her favorite color is blue. Her favorite local dish is fufuo. Her favorite fruit is pineapple. Fausty’s top five (5) items on her wishlist are (1) study journalism in media school, (2) own a keyboard and a camera, (3) have her own space/building to use as a worship center for others to be empowered through worship, prayers, and the teaching of God’s Word, (4) help bring hope to the abandoned, orphans, and less privileged kids who sell water by the roadside, have terrible living conditions, and are mistreated by their masters, host parents, and landlords. In addition, Nhyiraba also hopes to build a five story building to serve as a charity home/complex for orphans and abandoned kids, and (5) get the opportunity to start live, work, and start a new life outside of Ghana permanently.
